Every once in a while az anyam and az apam let me watch a little TV. There is something I like to watch that so inspires, motivates, exhilarates, provokes and stimulates me that I feel like screaming, YES, I CAN!

What to do today?

It is such a beautiful day outside today I don't know what to do. The problem is we've had such great weather recently and I've been spending so much time outside, I've done everything there is to do.I'm not bored with everything. I'm having trouble deciding which exciting activity I want to dive into. Maybe other people can give me suggestions.....What are you doing in Toronto right now? Oh, shoveling. Shoveling? Dirt? Oh, snow. Lots of snow. That's a shame. We haven't had snow in a while.

Well, maybe people in Cleveland have ideas. What are you doing this weekend, Clevelandites? Oh, you're shoveling snow too? Ouch.

Never mind. I think I'll just throw stones into puddles.

Clevelanders and Torontonians, If you get bored, I have a great indoor activity. It's called organize fridge magnets. Az anyam really, really enjoys it.

Working around the house, watching the sun trace shadows on the wall

Az anyam recently bought me a desk or as it is more commonly called a workbench. With it I got my own set of tools, nails, nuts, bolts, etc.

This has worked out great for the whole family as I can now help with things around the house.

Az apam is extremely grateful. Now, whenever he pulls out his tools, I pull out mine and we work on stuff together. When you have the two of us working on a task, it doubles the work required to complete the task. And that is the goal - increasing the time we get to spend working on stuff together.

What was that?

It's one thing to watch sports on TV. It is a totally different experience to play sports. And to go to an actual sporting event???? What is that all about???

Az anyam and az apam took me to a kosarlabda mecs. Go Pioneers! Az apam commented on how he hadn't seen me sit that still ever. I didn't really move for the first half trying to figure out what was going on.

There was a lot of running and throwing of the ball. It looks like I had missed some of the finer points of the game.

There are some parts of the game that I still don't get. At certain points in the game they would stop and then they'd start throwing young women in short skirts. They never made a basket with one. It seemed like they weren't even trying to score, just throwing them up in the air.


And don't even get me going on mascots....What is up with them? Are you a person? Are you a sideshow character?

Ain't no stomp, like a froggy stomp

I am itching for a rain storm to come. Not like a wimpy little rain, but like the month of April in Connecticut. We're talking Noah's ark meets Hoover Dam meets Niagara Falls.

Let it Ho, Let it Ho, Let it Ho

We've had a few snow storms over the last few weeks. It is a lot of fun to play in the ho, but there is still a lot of work associated with the ho. The best remedy for all that work is to have an anyuka and an apuka to clean it all up. All it takes is a little bit of training:

Once they're trained, I can go back to the important snow events like putting sticks in the snow and stomping. What is stomping? Professionals stomp this way:
