Tobb Ajandek

This Christmas was so cool - not only did I get to travel to Toronto and Florida and celebrate Christmas in each of those places, when I got home there were all sorts of ajandekok waiting for me there.
I didn't even have to wait for us to finish unpacking to tear into the gifts. Thank you, everyone, for your wicked awesome ajandekok. There were a ton of them.
There was also a special ajandek waiting at home for az anyam and az apam.

Danke Schön

I was pretty wiped out after my week in Disney. I slept even more soundly than Kutyus.

I wanted to thank Nagymama not only for taking all of us down to Disney and giving us a great week, but also for helping me put three szipka into my cup.

Nagypapa was a little preoccupied with his own straws to help me out.

Wild Animals

I loved Animal Kingdom. It's the newest Disney park. It's like a kingdom full of animals. I loved checking out all the animals. We saw most of them on a little safari. We rode on this massive safari truck.

We saw Hippos.
And we saw a way-cool male lion walking around.

And some cheetahs hiding in the grass.

And tons of flamingos.
And a whole bunch of massive rhinos.

Some crazy scimitar horned oryx which no longer exist in the wild.

My favorite animals I didn't see on the safari. These big guys were on a walking tour we went on after the safari. They were these big hairy beasts.

No, sorry, these other big, hairy beasts.

I spent a lot of time watching and studying their ways. You could call me James Goodall....

Girls and Fire

One of the highlights of my trip to Disney World was going to a luau.

We started off with some very tasty food. Az anyam cut me a small piece of bread. I let her have the small piece and took the loaf.

There was a lot of dancing. They tried to get me to strut my stuff, but I was a wee bit overwhelmed at that point and just hung out on stage.

I spent much of the night with my jaw on the floor. Naturally, my jaw was on the floor because of the smokin' hot hula dancers, but also because of the smokin' hot fire dancer guy.

Characters on Parade

During my holiday break, I got to spend some time at Disney World in Florida. It was nice to be in shorts for a while. There were some odd characters there - a very diverse cross-section of America....the globe actually.

I got to meet Pluto....

...and I got to drum with this freaky guy....

....of course I got to see Mickey Mouse and give him a big hug....

....then I saw some characters I did not know like Lilo....

...and Stitch. I still gave them big hugs and enjoyed meeting them.

And then there were these unsavory characters. Sure they look clean-cut and kosher in this picture, but you should see them when they go out at night.

Noise, Light and Scent

This Holiday Season (legitimate use of the word Holiday as I am using it to be inclusive of New Year's) had a recurring theme of sensory overload. It got progressively louder, brighter and olfactorierer. The trend started with the Christmas Eve celebration and all the cousins and family.

It's enough to make a kid hide inside a basket for some quiet reading.
