I got to spend time with a real economist this weekend - Uncle Piki Bacsi. I realized how difficult being an economist can be. I figure he's had his degree for like 10 years, so he must be doing real, hard core economics.
It seems like fun - singing and wearing makeup. Not at all what I expected an economist to be doing.
For a slightly different view on economics, I've been neck deep lately reading the latest from a modern John Maynard Keynes and JK Galbraith (not to be confused with JK Rowling) rolled into one. He's like Rose times Milton Friedman. Mentally and spiritually, not physically. That would be weird.
