Tenniskey, anyone?

Baseball is a pure sport. It's "junior league" was founded in 1901. It has brief plays which last 10 seconds. It's practically cricket in its slow, steady sophistication. This (and the sliding) are some of the key things I appreciate about baseball.

Tennis is also mistakenly thought of in this vein. However, tennis is easily combined with it's sister sport of hockey in a baseketball kinda, sorta way.

This sport has action, intensity, a racquet and can be played comfortably on the porch among the patio furniture. A totally different set of qualities to appreciate.
