I think the picture is in black and white because Canada is still black and white. Hopefully, they'll get color soon. Back when my grandparents were young the whole world was in black and white. Then Reagan became governor of California and color was introduced to the USA. Hopefully Stephen Harper will introduce some glasnost and color television. Oh wait, never mind. Ignore this last paragraph. They have color in Canada, they just call it "colour."
